Lipa at Jerusalem Arts and Crafts Fair

Annually, Czech Centre Tel Aviv participates at the Jerusalem Arts and Crafts Fair. This year we are happy to present a story of the legacy of Czech crafts in combination with modern design created by studio Lipa.

Lípa
is the place where you won't find any of typical souvenirs from Czechia as there is not much of Czech on them. The team of designers wants something else for you - gifts you can bring your family, friends and colleagues and proudly say they are from Czechia. Designed in Prague, the hearth of Czechia, connected with traditional symbol of our country - the linden tree - lípa. Connected with a symbol of love, tradition, stability, hot summer shelter with stupefying scent, cure of longevity. Connected with a tree which is majestic as Czechia.

The Jerusalem Arts and Crafts Fair is designed for people of all ages, especially families, and takes place in the Sultan’s Pool and Mitchell Gardens which lie just across from the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem, opposite the Tower of David. Artists, such as designers, painters, sculptors, and jewelers, represent continents from around the world, including Central and South America, Asia, Europe, and Africa.

The fair opens daily Sunday to Thursday from 6 pm to 11 pm, Friday it is closed, and Saturday the fair runs from 9pm to midnight.
