The Czech Centre Tel Aviv is presenting portraits of its guests visiting Israel. This series is a result of a long term project by the photographer Pavlina Schultz, who set herself the goal of creating a photo archive of personalities invited by the Czech Centre Tel Aviv to showcase Czech culture in Israel. The photo exhibiton is on display in the outdoor Gallery on the Fence, 23 Zeitlin, Tel Aviv, from February 1 to March 31, 2016.


Represented here are for example film directors Jan Hřebejk, Zdeněk Tyc or Jiří Mádl, architects David Vávra and Bořek Šípek, singer and violinist Iva Bittová, fashion designer Josefina Bakošová, guitar virtuoso and composer Štěpán Rak, pianist David Kalhous, Verte Dance company, actresses Tatiana Pauhofová and Judit Bardos, but also the director of the National Film Archive Michal Bregant or the co-director of TANEC PRAHA Festival Markéta Perroud.

Pavlina Schultz was born in Prague, Czech Republic. She moved to Israel in 2008 where she pursue her carrier as a photographer. She is the author of a documentary series The Wingmen, Tell Me What You Eat, Israel Geometric or TLV24. She is also the founder of a blog FromTelAviv aming to show everyday life and the spirit of the city.
